Well, a week after getting my EAD in the mail I have landed myself a job! Went for the second interview today. Its a Receptionist job at a small manufacturing company in my area, only takes 5 minutes to drive there so that is an added bonus when you have spent the last 9 years of your life commuting for 3 hours a day in London! The money aint amazing but like my husband says, its a step in the right direction and I willl learn what working in America is like! Feeling both happy and sad at the same time! Happy that I have a job and can earn some money, sad that I can no longer do nothing all day long!

Good for you! :) I was a receptionist once, I LOVED it, I'm sure you will too. And what a great commute!

I just found out my EAD was approved, so I'm going to be looking into jobs soon too. Hope I'm as lucky! (I too would miss the time off, I LOVE not working!)

Please check my profile for timeline info. :)
