Embassy Review : Incredibly simple process. Friendly interviewer, chatted with me a bit about my job and how I met my fiancee, and then welcomed me to the US. Got visa the next day.
Rating : Very Good

Local US CIS Office Review: Baltimore MD
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : December 13, 2006
Embassy Review : We had a very nice agent, Officer Patterson, who was pretty laid back. He made it VERY clear that we might not get the greencard for another year, but otherwise he said it was a very good idea that we went the K1 route, and that he thinks we are very legit. He didn't even want to see any of our photos, and asked us no probing questions!

He told us that we did have to take the last step of getting a special clearance certificate from the MD police since the FBI couldn't read our prints. Interview was over very quickly.
Harassment Level : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
