Yes, Sam is right we're still hanging out in the acceptance stage. Haven't made it to testing and interview and from the sounds of it don't think we will!

3/20/13: NOA1

7/12/13: RFE

8/5/13: RFE Reply

8/26/13: NVC Received

9/4/13: Packet 4 received via email

9/23/13: Fiancee received his hard Packet 4

12/5/13: Interview, Visa Aprobada!

12/12/13: Visa Received

12/13/13: Entry into US

1/15/14: Filed AOS

1/22/14: NOA

2/13/14: Biometrics Appointment

3/25/14: EAD and AP Approved

3/31/14: EAD/AP Combo Card Received

4/28/14: Received Interview Waiver Letter

10/8/14: Called USCIS and was allowed to file a Service Request since we're outside of normal processing times for our local office. Should have a response in 15-30 days.

10/29/14: Received letter (dated 10/27/14, exactly 1 day before the 6 month mark) stating that our case would be transferred to the Houston field office for processing.

11/28/14: Received letter (dated 11/20/14) stating that our case had been received at the Sacremento office and would be processed there and if we don't hear from them in 60 days to contact NVC.

12/9/14: Card is in production

12/16/14: 2 year card in hand!

Why is your Local office Dallas if your City is Houston? Shouldnt Houston be your local office? Just wondering

Day 1:[01/16/2014] I-130, I-485, I-765 delivered to Chicago

Day 5:[01/20/2014] NOA1 confirmation texts + emails

Day 8:[01/23/2014] NOA1 hard copies in the mail

Day 14:[01/29/2014] Biometrics Appointment letter in Mail for 02/11/14

Day 22:[02/07/2014] Early Walk-in - Denied. Didn't know about early walk-in til now

Day 27:[02/11/2014] Biometrics Done

Day 36:[02/20/2014] I-485 Status changed to "Testing and Interview"

Day 69:[03/26/2014] EAD Approved. Status Online Changed to "Card/ Document Production"

Day 171: [7/10/14] Got Notice of Interview Scheduled for 8/12/14

Day 202: (8/12/14] Interview Completed in Chicago downtown Office

Day 202: (8/12/14] Got Approved Notice and GC is in Production

Hope everyone is doing well. Haven't been on here for a minute. Got me SSN, my DL and I start to work on Monday. Took me a month after receiving my EAD. If someone wants to know about the DL test in Georgia. Just learn the book. 40 questions and a driving test. Its easy. I went there at 8.30am and got my DL at 11:00 am. Good luck.

Hi Everyone,

I had an interview on April 16th in NYC and it went great! The immigration officer told us everything looks great and that all i need to do is to send them a letter from court stating that my name is clear. Which I did the very next day.

How long is the wait from now? Is anyone in similar situation?

I know they got it on Monday the 21st, and now i am just biting my nails waiting.

Hey thanks.

We submitted everything at once when we were filing. I am adjusting from undocumented status so i had everything done in USA, therefore we didnt take much with us for the interview - we simply send them a full packet beforehand :)

Dec 20th 2013 - got married in NYC

Jan 17th 2014 - received at Chicago Lockbox

Jan 23rd 2014 - confirmation in mail

Feb 11th 2014 - request for more evidence (they lost my birth certificate translation)

Feb 14th 2014 - Biometrics appointment

Mar 12th 2014 - changed to testing and interview

Mar 16th 2014 - interview appointment for Apr 16th :)

Mar 26th 2014 - EAD in production

Apr 5th 2014 - EAD in my hands <woop woop>

Apr 16th 2014 - interview and RFE

Apr 21st 2014 - RFE delivered

May 22nd 2014 - GC in production ;)

So I just checked USCIS Timelines for Chicago - they finally moved up from working on I-485 apps from May 31, 2013 to July 1 - woo hoo. I can finally see a little light at the end of that tunnel - its a verrrry small, tiny light, but oh well. And yes, I know, those timelines are not consistent or even accurate but a small tiny victory for Chicago!!!! :dancing::dancing:

Does it still show Acceptance? If so, you should probably receive an interview waiver letter soon.

yea it still shows acceptance. Just got off the phone with USCIS and put in for an expedite for financial loss. Hopefully that will make them acknowledge my case. hey.. something has to give.

I just realized your timeline VBTWO.. you received your waiver letter like a month after receiving your combo card. So maybe the same thing will happen for us!!! crossing fingers.. Thanks for the tip

R&I, thought you'd like to know I started a Chicago local office topic over in the Adjustment from work etc progress reports forum. I really thought I'd have a date by now - been almost three months. Any news on your end?
