Citizenship after removal of conditions, how long do I have to wait to apply for it?

I got married three years ago, after 2 years of being married we decided it wasn't working out. I got a divorce and applied for the removal of conditions of my 2 year green card. I got approved and now I'm a lawful permanent resident. My question is how long do I have to wait to be able to apply for citizenship?

5 years from the date of the issuance of your original green card. If you came on a spousal visa, this is also the day you entered the U.S. If on a fiance visa, it's 5 years from the date of issue on your first green card. Since you don't have your timeline posted, it's impossible for any of us to tell what your exact path was....

I suggest that you go to http://www.uscis.gov/n-400 and follow the link labeled "Document Checklist, Current Fees, Naturalization Eligibility Worksheet (608 KB PDF)".

You should complete the worksheet, it'll help you figure things out.

But generally speaking, look on your green card for the date next to "Resident since", add 5 years, subtract 90 days, and that's your eligibility date (provided you meet the other requirements -- the worksheet will help you with those).
