hi visajourney! i would like to ask, i checked our visa status in USCIS site and it says that its in POST DECISION ACTIVITY and indicate there that las Dec.19 our I-129F petition was approved. but my fiancee dont received any email and text about that. is that our NOA2? because we are waiting for our NOA2. and its that normal that my fiancee dont got any email or text or we just need to wait for the email and text? and its that our NOA2? tnx.. godbless

You won't always receive an email or text, but you will receive your hard copy in the mail. Congrats!

No issues if you didn't get any email or sms alert. What matters is the hard copy.

so its normal that some received emails and others are not?now im relieved already. because i know other's got emails. but most importantly our visa status in USCIS is approved and in post decision activity already. thank you guys you are a great help for us.thank you so much. and now we begin to wait for the hard copy of NOA2

hi. our noa1 is dated nov. 29 then our I-129f petition approved dec. 19 that was in USCIS update this day, and they said its NOA2 but no email and text, so maybe we need to wait for the hard copy. btw we sent our visa packet nov. 19 and its so fast to have noa2. do you have same situation with us?

Yes that is your NOA2 :thumbs: The paper copy will eventually arrive - hand onto it as you will need a copy for AOS after you are in the States & married.

Now to be patient a little longer while the petition is transferred to NVC then soon......... your MNL!!!

We didn't get an e-mail nor a text. Just the NOA2 in the mail a few days after it was approved.

Neither did we back then, even though we had been signed up for notifications. So you see OP, it is not uncommon and nothing to worry about.

you should get the text and email only if you signed up and created an account with USCIS.... the form that you probably sent at the beginning does not suffice for anything that happens later in the case... from my own experience... good luck and congrats!!! now in 3-4 weeks start checking with the NVC for case number.... also, keep checking on their website, they usually update it when your case is shipped to NVC... congrats!!!
