Yawwwwnnnnnnnn........

Of thousands of examples, why this one?

Ummmm, cause it just happened yesterday? Are you ok with that ruling about the President's Uncle?

You should close your mouth, you're catching flies.

Maybe Janelle will fall for your Colbert impressions.

Calling out someone by name like that is considered baiting and is not permissible per site TOS.

Is that an African joke? It is well known that in Africa many have to eat flies to survive. Or is that North Korea. No matter, they all look the same to me.

Even for you that's rather childish. Close my mouth? Can you see me?

Dude, man up and post intelligently. You can do ti, just apply yourself.

Plenty of moms get deported and I don't think that having kids in the US should make a person able to stay. I know the daily mail is going to pull the "poor mum" routine, but I am immune.

No one here has seen her immigration file, and it seems years ago she made a frivolous asylum claim. I have more sympathy for plain overstayers than people who try to lie about "secret prostitute rings" or other nonsense to dupe the government. If she hadn't done that she probably wouldn't be deported now. Her husband is GC holder? He is not a citizen, but I didn't catch his status in the article. He also could have filed for his wife concurrently a few months ago when the priority dates were current. I wonder why he is not a citizen, ineligible because of crimes maybe?

She will be back, anyway.

She is here illegally since 2000

She married a guy from (former) Yugoslavia - sounds like he is a GC holder?

They have 3 American born children

Just wondering what you all think...

Detroit ICE is lagged, alas.

See? They're just handling cases from 2000. I hope and pray there will be more deportation orders this month and next, and that the Detroit ICE office gets their sh}t together and increases the deportations.

Who knows? Maybe Detroit will clear their backlog, and get up to at least 2004, by mid-January.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

No joke, why is the husband angle not being discussed? Is he illegal too? I do feel for her situation and especially the American children. But geez, how many line hoppers do we see here trying to play the asylum card for complete BS reasons?

Not sure about permanently living there but one of the benfits of being a USC is being able to go visit willy nilly most countries worthy of a visit without regulations.

but if you visited and decided you'd like to stay permanently, or if someone abroad dreams of living here..not so much.
