Majority gets approved even without their petitioner's presence. You should be fine as long as you have all the required forms, documents, proof of relationship and you can answer the consul's questions correctly.

Of course +1 for your fiancee being there.

my f was with me when i have my interview..the advantages of it is that for us and the rest of the couples who were there, we were not ask so many questions anymore and the nicest part is his with me even on my interview with the american consul..just very basic questions for both of us and the rest was ask to my f..lol!i believe he was the one being interviewed now...trust me you'll be approve!your interview there is the easiest one compare to the one i had with the one-on-one interview with the CFO officer...just be confident and keep smiling..hehe!GOODLUCK!!

Hello hello! I was with honey Gina for her interview at US Embassy in Manila on November 25th. They only asked her 3 simple questions, and could clearly see our love, care, and respect for each other. Gina passed easily. Good luck! Many people said up there that's it's an advantage to have your fiancée with you. We did witness a couple of girls that were sent away - not immediately approved, and we noticed that they were alone - no fiancé was with them. What does that indicate??

IT depends to your case but your petitioner's presence gives a tremendous effect to the visa approval.My Fiance will be with me our interview too which is feb 3 2014.Good luck to us all.Hope yours will go just fine.

Oh understandable, having previous denial sometimes the nervousness is overwhelming. Of course the approval depends on how visa is eligible , if everything is good, well paperworks sent passed and you're qualified, now the last is just kind of formality the interview, they wanna confirm everything is true and your intention with your application , of course the best way is done personally, and while everyone got through with it with flying colors , yes you can do it too,.. a big yes. And being with fiancée boast your confidence and your mood is great having him around so you will be perfectly fine. Good luck !!

Your profile states you are an F-1 visa, I am guessing you are actually a K-1.

Your fiance being there for the interview is not a big factor in being approved, even though it does help. I will add this for your fiance - it is a great experience that I highly recommend to any who can attend. I was there and will never forget that day!

As long as you have genuinely relationship whether your fiance is there or not you'll get approval. But even though it is a real relationship but sometimes because you are nervous when CO asked you, it could get you in trouble.

My fiance will be with me for the interview as well. I need him with for my big day and support me at that time. Whether it is approved or not, that's different story.

DITTO Hank's response. For me being there was a heartwarming and very proud moment for me as I watch from a distance my "new" family proud and confident during their interview. Today we were blessed with our VISA being issued.

As others say, proving you have a relationship, both with pictures and receipts is only 1/3rd of the interview. The CO wants to know if you REALLY know him. So, make sure you know his background especially any previous marriages and why they failed. If there is a large age gap be prepared to answer possible questions. Be confident with all your answers!
