This is the link you need - http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html

This will give you a step by step guide on what you need to do. The embassy doesn't just send you an interview because you have a case number - you have to put in a bit of work first!! You also need to have the medical before you have your interview, however you don't need to have this before you send back the applicant readiness form (http://london.usembassy.gov/iv/notification_of_applicant_readiness_form.html). It does have a space on here though to put down the date of your medical, so book it as soon as you are ready with all the other stuff. You also need your police certificate when you attend the medical, so allow yourself enough time to get this before your appointment date!

The information and process can seem overwhelming at times, but keep organized, keep calm, use all the information available to you and make sure you double check everything before you send stuff off!!

One other word of advise, once you have done everything and had your medical, if you haven't heard anything about an interview date after 4 weeks from your medical, then contact the embassy! I, along with quite a few others, never got an interview date letter and only found out about it after contacting them!

Hope this helps

Here are the basics:

1. Once you have a case number check the CEAC website (for immigrant visa) at https://ceac.state.g...peAKjMWCuebHqOw== It should say In Transit when they are sending to the embassy.

2. Make your medical appointment like 1-2 weeks out so there is time for your file to get opened in London.

3. As soon as medical appointment is done, do the DS 160 form (all info here: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html)

4. At end of 160 application they give you a receipt with a number. Use that number to submit London's on-line "I am ready" form (here: http://london.usemba...iness_form.html)

5. Make sure you have all your documents.

6. Check CEAC site daily after medical and form submittal for any date change on the updated line -- if there is a date change call State Dept. number above and ask if you have interview date. Also do this once a week anyway, as some notice letters never make it to you.

Hi, I'm trying to call DOS to get my interview date in London as my update date has changed today on the CEAC site.

On calling DOS I go through several menu options and reach k1, all it does is tell me about the visa, I can't get an option to actually speak to someone.

Please can someone help me out with this

Thanks
