April 14: Real checklist for AOS (saying tax number was incorrect when it wasn't)
April 30: Another AOS checklist, for proof of employment (which was already sent)
May 1: Checklist for IV- certified marriage certificate (even though I sent a certified one originally)
July 1: INTERVIEW!!! - APPROVED!
July 16: POE through Miami
July 22: SSN card in the mail
August 30, 2014: Green card arrives in the mail!!!
 
ROC: 366 days
April 27, 2016: Sent 300 page ROC packet to VSC via overnight mail
May 16: Check shown as charged online, received NOA 1 dated April 29

I want to thank everyone who took the time to send letters, emails, and faxes as part of this effort. Today showed what this community is capable of and it should get the attention of people in the position to affect the adjudication process.

If you were unable to participate today you can still send emails, faxes, and letters out. The letters that were drafted can be easily changed for relatives and friends to participate. Apathy toward the process is the worst thing we can do while we wait. I suggest we use this interest this letter generated and draft a short, letter to the editor that all people waiting for USCIS can submit to local newspapers or post on blogs/ social media around the holidays. If you get a positive response from an elected official you have contacted, a personal mention would also be the best thank you they could hope for.
