Hello guys,

i'm new in this site, i am glad i found this website!! thank you from the founder,

I am born and grew in the U.S, but i am mixed Filipino. Philippines is my country too.

At my work 7 yrs ago i meet a Filipina who is married to a American, we became close friend, i would considered she is my best-friend. I am her first friend since she got here in the U.S, She constantly talking about she wanted to go back home because she cannot take her husband's verbal abuse. But after 4 months she became pregnant, during her pregnancy her husband was gone due from his work.., I was with her most of the time, helping her out because she doesn't know how to drive yet. When she had a baby her husband went home. That time her husband was starting to do physically abuse her., She cried on me i was trying to pamper as much as i can. When her husband went home for good. She found out that her husband was cheating on her not only a woman but also a men. She found out that her husband was a bi-sexual. But I give her a advice to stayed the married for the sake of the child, well She did, Until the time her husband Physically abuse her and end up her almost death.

So I rescue her and i let her stayed in my place until she can stand in her own feet, she found a job,a place and know how to drive.

Her husband filed for Divorce and fight for custody to the child, but now they have 50/50 visitation rights.

Since the divorce was final, Her ex- husband has no permanent job, no permanent place. He is only depending the VA disability. He is physically healthy, i think his trying to scam the government. And he always hired a lawyer to get a custody.

In the other hand my friend cant have a life because every time she dated somebody, her husband trying to find away to scared her men,And wherever my friend lived ,he follow and lived next to her, or find a girlfriend closer to my friends house so that he can live there.Sometime he sleep in her car. He doesn't have place to live.

After her ex-husband received a VA lump sum,He found a girl online and flow to the Philippines and married Muslim Filipina. He only meet this girl in person once and married right away. He stayed in the Philippines for two weeks and go back to U.S. When he came back from Philippines Her girlfriend kick him out. So he doesn't have place to lived. Then After 2 days in the U.S.He went back to Philippines and lived there like a millionaire.

I feel sorry for his new Filipina wife., I think this guy trying to find a Filipina victim. Plus His new Filipina wife , that' is his 5th wife. he is only 38yrs. i would like to prevent it. i need your help on how to stop this kind of situation? I am pretty sure once his wife came to U.S she'll gonna be miserable and sorry. The best good thing is to prevent the woman to come in the U.S. ,so that she'll not suffer like my friend did. It would be nice if he stay in the Philippines. So that ,it would be under control.

Thank you

**Moderator hat off**

There is really nothing you can do, petition adjudication and visa issuance is all guided by applicable law.

I'm not saying don't contact the relevant agencies (USCIS & the State Department) but I think there is a better than 99% chance that they would not listen to you about this.

How to report fraud marriage..In order Visa denial.

My Best-friend EX- husband found a girl online ,Then he flew to Philippines, After two days stayed in Philippines, he got married .

My understanding all american citizen wanted to get married in the Philippines they needs to wait 10days over there? i dont know if they have reqs. like DIVORCE DECREE, OR BIRTH CERTIFICATE. He married a Muslim girl .

My best-friend ex husband was not a good person , we all know their is always two side of the story, but Things to considered !!! this is his 4th wife's now. My best-friend was the 3rd wife's but she was the only one had child. Since the divorce was final chaos and problem are always. couple months my best-friend was happy becz her ex wasn't around them. She had peace of mind.

Until we found out that her ex is in PI and marry over there, So if his wife cannot get a visa in the U.S.Of-course he gonna stayed in the Philippines for his wife.

We want this things happen, just for the sake of child and peace of my friend's life. Even if just temporary, until the child get bigger.

I need help to prevent , not visa issuance .

thank you

Unless you can prove there is something illegal with the process or that he did it only for immigration purposes there is nothing you can do. They usually don't listen to complaints from Ex spouses exactly for the reasons you listed: it is vindictive. Unless there is a violation of the law there is nothing you or she or anyone else can do to prevent him from doing what he wants.

One section of this board I do not care to visit is this one.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/127-effects-of-major-family-changes-on-immigration-benefits/

But really didn't have to read all these problems, the woman I met and I agreed that the reason we had disastrous marriages, was young and stupid and rushed into them. While it was love at first sight, we elected to take a year to really get to know each other before tying the knot. But thanks to the USCIS, this was extended to a second year of waiting.

During this extra time, I could meet all of her family members and she could meet mine. As she put it, we had many complications and we learned we could sit and calmly talk this out, if I couldn't come up with a solution, she could.

Sure if any fraud was intended, no one would wait this long. Not only with immigration, but domestically as well, if kind of well to do lots of gold diggers out there. Time is the only factor I can offer to prevent stuff like this, and with immigration, forget about any protection for the sponsoring citizen, will still hang you with that I-864 rather than protect you.

Just know what you are getting into and time prevents problems like this. Ha, often made the statement if they read the divorce laws as part of your marriage ceremony, nobody would get married.
