I never got my NOA2 and I called USCIS to speak to Immigration Officer and they said my petition wasn't approve and still in initial review when I called to inquire about the computer glitch that happen at CSC. They flat out said NO ... then I just check my email after the previous reply. I could not believe what I saw in my inbox ... and I have a case number. What is going on?

But this is a blessing, I've been praying and praying, I'm like in a dream state. My fiancé is going to be with me soon. *sigh* Now what to do? I can't believe this happen before Christmas ... I need to tell my fiancé.

Tears of joy Im so happy for you.

I haven't taken a chance to read the recent postings in this thread to see if others have been getting good news as we have, but I wanted to let everyone here know how quickly our case has progressed, and the surprising steps involved.

We just received notice from the Consulate in Guayaquil Ecuador that our case is ready to have the interview scheduled. This was received Dec 23rd, after our NOA2 date of Nov 21st. We filed our petition on October 28th... meaning it has been less than two months since we started the process, and we can now schedule interview. The next interview date in Guayaquil is January 10th meaning we could feasible finish this whole process in about 2.5 months... is that a record??

The surprising part of this is that I have been been calling the NVC since the beginning of December to see if they have received the case after USCIS finished with it on Nov 21st and was told each time they had not received it yet... then all of a sudden the consulate contacts us this week... yay!

Anyway, a wonderful Christmas present for us, and very much looking forward to being in the US together as early as January!!

Happy holidays to all!

you know what I think if you filed in early november or early november i think we have been approved and the status has not been updated yet if you haven't receive a decline or RFE it means that we are approved and just waiting for that confirmation to come in at the right time.
