MY wie has already been approved to get her visa but she is from the philippines and we both live in china, the dotocrs have told us that the baby has a heart problem . my wife has had no complications at all during the pregnancy but it is safer for her to travel now than try to travel after the baby is born,

I have told all this to the gangzhou consulate, I have made it clear that my wife has to leave this by october 30 to see better doctors in american. She has already passed the interview. they just told her she needed to get some more police certificates from other countries.

I had asked the consulate a coup-le of months ago about police certificates/ my wife is from the philippines so i did not know what to expect. they sent me an email back telling me she just needed police records from china, at the interview the chinese woman just looked at my wife and told her that she needed police certificates from 3 countries now. MY wife even tried to give the woman our evidence showing how urgent the need is for my wife to leave soon. .. she refused to taake the papers.

any help...

Where else did your wife live abroad?

From the Philippines, she only needs to submit the NBI Clearance (green form, for travel abroad).

uh - give them what they ask for !

NBI clearance from the PI is straightforward.

What's the other country/countries?

GUZ IV will not issue the visa without the police certificates, but if you are IN CHINA, you should get into GUZ IV (YOU, the USCitizen) during ACS (American Citizen Services) and talk with a Vice-Consul. You might get some slack. Maybe.

I had asked the consulate a coup-le of months ago about police certificates/ my wife is from the philippines so i did not know what to expect. they sent me an email back telling me she just needed police records from china Sorry - Chinese Nationals answer these emails, and rarely do real casefile review before answering. You got hosed, prior, because of that.

your wife needs police certificates from every country where she has lived for more than 6 months after she was 16. without them I don't think she can have a visa.

- Civil wedding: September 10th, 2012

- I130 sent to the USCIS in Chicago on January 2013, while my husband was deployed
