So there's a new part on the timelines for people at the Texas service centre there's is now a transferred option can we fill these out so the timelines can be more accurate it would help people who aren't transferred but have been at TSC since the start. Thanks.

Yup. I've just got an alert a while ago. We both are at same service centre. dancin5hr.gif

I got an NOA1 on Friday saying it is being transferred to TSC. Is this the same thing? I've been lurking these boards because I don't really hear much about the TSC....but I hear more about the NVC. Clearly, there are too many steps but it is definitely worth it! I just need time to hurry up! Would it be bad if I were to go to the interview with my baby? I'm thinking about it. Looks like I have plenty of time to think about it!! Blahahaha

Well I think you don't have to update your timeline if it says transfered to TSC and your original filling lockbox is also TSC..it's still the same. I got my NOA1 on the 9th lastweek Monday and it reads "your application has been routed to TSC for processing" and that was the same filling location I used initially.

If your NOA1 says your petition went to the TSC and your case# starts with SRC, then you were not transferred, Since the end of July, petitions that would have been sent to the VSC are now going directly to the TSC. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=405247ce85e50410VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=e7801c2c9be44210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

Everyone sends their petition to the Dallas Lockbox intake facility. That is not the Texas Service Center. The petitions are sent out from the Dallas Lockbox to either the CSC or TSC. See my response above this one about workload transfers and all new petitions that would have gone to the VSC being sent to the TSC now instead.

Updated! Also, I asked VJ about it because it now put us in the same group as our original processing center (VSC) including those who have NOT been transferred. VJ's answer was that they will wait a few weeks for people to update their timelines and then change the way the statistics are compiled... then, we should have some accurate estimates for NOA2 timeframes. So.... if you were transferred to TSC and haven't updated your profile, please do so now!
