My address was "changed" twice in November last one being 11/14/2013, case status online showed so. It's 12/17/2013 and NOBODY has touched my case since. have seen so many approvals and as much as Im happy the question always lingers as to why some are approved sooner

That sucks. Still no update for me right now. Did they transferred your case? Did you call since that changed address update?

Kaylara- it sounds like you spoke with the same jerk off as I did! He told me they were still working on Feb 2013 cases and I said I knew various cases from March, April, and May which had been approved. He said "no, they're working on Feb cases" I said "well national average is at 7.4 months and I'm at 9" he told me "you're wrong" *sigh* I was also told that *if* I do have an RFE (this was the one who told me I don't have one) it won't get sent out until after Dec 26. I was like "after Dec 26? So what, April, June, another year?" He says "there's no way to tell, you just have to wait" <_<

Anyways, my main point is you need to get Skype. Calls to 1-800 numbers are FREE! Even from international numbers. I know I'd be in debt by now making these two hour phone calls internationally. With Skype, they're free.

We haven't got our mail for RFE which was sent Dec 10 according to them. But our lawyer sent us an email stating that the USCIS is requesting for my divorce decree, which we already gave to our lawyer. And our lawyer said they need a translation in English (will be done in 2 days). How come our lawyer got the RFE mail and we don't? I am a beneficiary from Thailand.

Oh, I've had skype for about 10 years now. We used it extensively while we were dating back in the day. :P But I also wound up spending a small fortune on international calling. :P

Right now, my husband calls me every day at 11am. He's got an unlimited plan through Skype which was like 50 euros per year.

Luckily, 800#'s are free. Which means that I'm only costing them money by waiting on hold.

Was your Officer really hard to understand? Mine was. I didn't even get his officer # because I couldn't, for the life of me, understand what he said at that point. He also interrupted me constantly

Ugh, the numbers for Nebraska are just pathetic. Texas is also sad. Working diligently my butt. These numbers prove that their statements in their letter to the stakeholders was a load of bull.

It really makes me wonder why CSC has been so fast? Is Texas + Nebraska working on something else?

I really hope you all get your approvals soon, it really does make no sense to me how they are seemingly going out of order =/. Also makes me wonder if USCIS doesn't notice that NSC and TSC are barely making headway.

That sucks. Still no update for me right now. Did they transferred your case? Did you call since that changed address update?

My case was transferred to Nebraska on 11/01/2013. I have called the clueless gang about 4 times since and they have no answer as to the status of my case. the address changes notifications were done in "error". I have talked to the so called tier 2 people, pretty much a call center out of the states (my opinion). No one knows, nobody cares, they charge money and we can't expect great service and they sound annoyed when we call.

Well, I have a DREAM they can ACT on ...

Why transfer cases to a service center that can't deliver? I believe I read that the December filers are getting sent to the service centers, not NBC. How nice that they get sent there right off the bat. I swear I will lose it if I start seeing approvals from the recent filers.... I already restricted myself from the threads after May. I can't watch anymore

Just got email saying my case got approved.

"On December 18, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Thank you all for giving me info and helps. I really appreciate that. I also pray for everyone who still waiting will get approved soon. I do think our march people who were transferred around Nov 6 to NSC will all get process before Jan 6.

I don't know if putting in service request help. I never get anything from the mail. But that last one just happened right before they updated my status to "address change". That makes me think NSC have people check request all day long, unlike NBC. However it maybe just happen they are processing my case at that time. I have telling tier 2 agents put service request for me 3 times since SEP. I also use that as my excuse for bypass tier 1 agents. I just say "A tier 2 agent put in a service request for me 30 days ago. He say if I don't get any update call back. Can you transfer me to a tier 2 agent and see what's going on?" No need to ask them questions, you all know tier 1 don't know anything. If you ask, they just going to give u stupid answer then you get mad.
