Would someone please clarify this process for me.

I sent my I129F on Oct 20 to TSC. I recieved NOA1 on Oct 24th. Then is was sent to CSC, which I guess is standard procedure.

So why would it take less time for Vermont to process this app then for Texas to process. If it all gets funeled thru the CSC why is there a difference.

I sent mine to the Texas SC and they forwarded it to the CSC.

Vermont is notoriously FAST. I saw one NOA2 from Vermont a mere two weeks after the petition was even received.

Poor sods like you and me are stuck in Texas/California, so expect a 3 month wait (at least).

Several late September filers received there NOA2's already this week. Hopefully that is a good sign that things are picking up. Hopefully you only have a month to go and Tracy and I only have 2 months....

YMMV

 first CONGRATS ON YOUR APPROVAL  I really think Chris nailed it right to the wall. This is a tough journey but if you cant stand this wait, rough times are ahead. Think about, he may not be able to work right away, stranger in another country, he will have alot of stress on him and if he can't handle this, it should really concern you about the future. In any case, I pray for patience and peace on you both and wish you a speedy journey.
