Just got back from our interview and my husband was approved! Took less than an hour total, including waiting and everything. Super painless and quick!

Congratulations. No you don't have to call NVC again. They will send your casefile to embassy no problem.

Until Visa is issued everyone is in AP. Its just a formality. What is the normal time frame for Visa issue a week or so? Don't worry they said approved at interview you are cool.

I haven't spoken to him yet (his phone is basically broken, could only call his mother) but she said he got through easily and spoke with a really nice woman. Apparently she only asked him a few questions. They told him he can pick up his visa within the next five days, but he's booked his flight for the 31st.

10/08/2016: Application Package Sent

10/31/2016: Early Biometric Done (Walk-In)

12/06/2016: In Line for Interview

04/20/2016: Online Status Changed to "Interview was Scheduled" 

05/25/2017: Interview Date- Approved!

06/01/2017: Reply to RFE (N-14) Sent

09/20/2017: Email from Ombudsman confirming that they got in touch with USCIS, advised to wait 60 days.

09/22/2017: Request to find out about the case to Senator, acknowledged the receipt of inquiry.

10/02/2017: Ombudsman’s office notified that USCIS made a decision on the case and I will be informed by USCIS within 30 days.

10/02/2017: Talked with a Tier-2 officer and he informed my case was in line for oath since September 22nd, 2017.

10/10/2017: Online status changed to “Inline for Oath ceremony”

10/14/2017: Online status changed to “Oath Ceremony Letter Mailed”

11/03/2017: OATH CEREMONY!

03/12/2013 Transferred to the local office 12/27/2013 received green card
04/10/2013 Case still not found in on-line system
04/15/2013 INFO-PASS appointment

we have done court marriage to file for i130 due to my husband work commitment .we have pic of our honeymoon,marriage certificate issued by cout,greeting card call logs fb chat viber chat skyp chat records.i want to ask is traditonal marriage is necessary or traditional marriage pic at the time of interview as we dnt have family pics due to court marriage.please advice
