On July 23, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

TSC says that the USCIS website has problem which they did not update correct the status. Many people had called USCIS and found out that they got approved without any text, email even USCIS website does not show they got approved.

Call them tomorrow to check again to make sure.

yh thts true thy r having trouble with their site .sometime they send us email/sms with no update on their site nd sometimes theres activity on their site but no mail or sms. we shud be a little bt more patient . they have to deal with thousands of cases everyday make desicion or no or send an rfe or jst touch the case nd keep the file bak

YW!! only petitioner'll recieve the hard copy nd the email u gave thm they 'll send u notification thr n on mobo too.. make sure u keep NOA1 hard copy nd NOA2 hard copy in a safe place its important

Petitioner is the one will receive the hard copy NOA2. Keep it in the safe place because if you lose that would cost 400 dollar.

I just talked to the NVC and the woman said it takes 8 weeks for the case to get to the NVC? Have u heard of it taking that long before? I thought it was much shorter than that

They'd tell everyone that but it's usually 2-3 weeks.

But how do you know its been approved because it says weve shipped this approved orrrr re-affirmed petition...it doesnt say anywhere that its been approved...im just curious as to how you can know its approved?

But looking at other threads people got different messages saying it was actually approved....under my post decision activity it doesnt say that it issss approved

On other peoples it says that they received an email and a letter is sent in the mail...just curios because my case says none of that

It depends if you had set allert messages on your email... You were approved and you probably didn't recieve the alert message and then a couple weeks later you usually get the message you just got...

The important thing is that you are approved and it is on it's way to NVC... I'm sure you'll get a hard copy in your mail soon.

When I look on the USCIS website to check the status of my petition it is at the "post decision activity" stage. But it doesnt not say whether it was approved or not it just says this....

"On August 15, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."

Does this mean it was approved or not approved or a final decision hasnt been made??

my case was approved and I have that same message from uscis. I got my case number yesterday from nvc. give it a week and call nvc so they could give you your case number. They must have missed sending you the approval notice. Just call uscis so you could hear them say approved. Congrats...

Not to rain on your parade - but we were approved in Texas on 7/24 - we are still waiting on NVC to recieve the packet - having been calling every other day for 2 weeks - same thing - just keep checking back - they state that things are slow right now - they don't know why - but consider yourself lucky - our NOA1 was December 10 - our approval July 25
