Port of Entry Review
Event Date
Port of Entry : JFK
POE Date : 2013-08-29
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Very quick, the CBP officer asked me questions about the purpose on my trip, stamped my passport and then escorted me to a separate office. I had to sit there for about 5 minutes, then they called me, said "congratulations", gave me my passport back and that was it. No problems at all.

Consulate Review: Czech Republic
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : August 27, 2013
Embassy Review : My experience is very positive. The interview went well, I had to wait a little bit because there was one guy ahead of me and they asked him a lot of questions (he was getting the spousal visa). It kinda bothered me that I could hear his whole story, the room is not provate at all. When it was my turn, the consuel was very nice and asked a few simple questions. Then he said: "everything looks goog, but we need to process the papers and we will call you." So I still wasn't sure if anything could go wrong. My interview was on Thursday and they called me on Monday I could come pick up my visa. Everything was smooth, except for the long wait over the weekend for them to call me.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
