When I graduated college I did a really crappy job of packing up my apartment and threw stuff into random bags. My parents took it out of storage after a year and it's all over their basement. I will be going through all of that (for the next week) starting today.

Then maybe shop for some flat boots I can't afford.

Just finished making 4 dozen chocolate chip cookies for the boys. Have a meatloaf mixed up soaking in the flavors waiting to be baked. Had my hair colored this morning to hide all of the immigration greys. The remainder of the day will be doing whatever the hell I feel like, mainly nothing. All four of my guys are piled up in the living room playing x box, while the oldest ones girlfriend sits quietly on the sofa. An all around lazy family day for us, I love it.

1. Hubby and I put up our new 32' LCD TV in our room this morning. We were like little kids when we opened the box. We ooohed and aaahed at everything, including the smell of the box.

2. Wrapped some Christmas presents. Got too much wrapping paper this year so every gift was wrapped twice. :P

3. He vacuumed the house while I put away the laundry and took out the trash.

4. He's now playing Battlefield 2142 online while I'm listening to Tony Bennett's An American Classic. Love the guy!

5. Early birthday dinner for his sister this evening.

today! ?

Well I worked for a few hours this morning...

Came home to do some laundry (not the good kind), washed some dishes, currently listening to XM, chatting with my love, and tonight I shall skip a party, do some christmas cards and wrap some pressies, watch a flick, eat some pizza, and drink some wine!!

Woke up to a phone call from my mahal (L) Always a great way to start a day! Chatted with her for a few hours, now she is off to bed. Did my dishes, need to work on some laundry, and am under strict orders to shave

No kids this weekend, so need to clean up the house from a week of being snowed in with the kiddies... They did great though, we had a lot of fun playing in the snow, hiking, and sitting around the house playing Monopoly Junior, Operation Shrek, and watching movies together.

Most of the day I will be thinking about one last Christmas apart, wishing February 12th (her interview date) will hurry up and get here! :D

My sister, who just turned 14 on the 29th, is having a birthday party so I have to go downstairs every now and then to see how everything is going. She has a friend who has her birthday on the same day as my sister, so they decided to have one single party... my mom and her mom are sharing all the expenses.

They hired a DJ, a waiter and invited about 60 friends. She told my parents she doesn't want any "adults" around... so they send me over there :lol:

Amed had to work today, so he got up early and left while I slept in for the first time in ages. I unpacked some stuff in our new condo and watched some trashy tv (wow, I don't remember the acting being so bad in 90210 the first time around, but in watching it again, it really shows!)

Then Amed came home and we did some laundry, fixed lunch and straightened up a bit. Now we are at my parents' house helping decorate a bit for Christmas. We're going to go downtown to watch the tree lighting and a boat parade, and then I think we'll go by Bed Bath and Beyond and return some duplicate wedding presents.

All in all, a good day! Hope everyone else is having a good time as well.

Hey woman, ltns how are you & how is Brandon feeling?

{{{ Lisa }}} (L)

Thanks so much for asking. I have been doing great, and Brandon's all healthy and stuff. In the last 6 months, he's gained back all the weight he lost to Crohn's disease. In fact, he's put on more than a few extra pounds and has started thinking about watching how much he eats. He's not particularly thrilled when I play with the roll of fat around his waist, but I tell him often that it makes him sexier. :innocent:

He's been happily busy at his job and is also back in volunteer fire fighting. As a matter of fact, he rushed out a few mins ago to tend to an emergency. 2006 started out really discouraging and worrying for us, but it's ending wonderfully. :)
