So we had a snowfall here last night but all the roads to work were clear. I drive on a 3-lane freeway where max speeds are 70 mph.

I also found the one spot on the entire drive that had a tiny bit of ice in it (a small rut on an overpass). There's nothing quite like adding a 360-degree turn across 3 lanes of traffic to the morning commute. I have no idea how, other than by the force of will, that I didn't hit anything or anyone.

The guy that hit the same patch of ice about 3 minutes after I did didn't fare as well; his car slammed into the guard rail. I saw him drive off so hopefully it's just car damage.

I'm here at work safe and sound, thankfully.

Thanks everyone, I'm very glad as accidents go, it was okay. I'm still quite shaky. So's the hubster who got the color commentary as he was on the phone with me (headsets for safety).

I'm not quite at the "that was fun" stage yet Gupt, but maybe when the shock wears off. :P

I have a 4 wheel drive vehicle when it's engaged, but have no idea if it's front-wheel or rear-wheel when it's not. My car is gray. ;)

my guess would be rear wheel when not engaged. rear wheel drive tends to cause a vehicle to spin easier on ice/snow. front wheel drive is much safer in that regard.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
