I completely absolutely understand--I think alot people just dont get how hard it is to be away from the person that you love for such a long period--i mean you visit but you want it to be permanent --its definitely a challenge :(

I called USCIS and checked our status. Just like the last group of tranfers, we were sent to St.Albans VT. That's great news and I am glad I know where it is.

The transfers from May 24 got all kinds of notifications, To another office, to local office, to St Albans, etc. In the End everybody was sent to TSC.This is probably what is going on with us also. It took about 2 weeks for their petitions to arrive. After they left VSC, they went to a holding center and then on to TSC. It took 4 weeks for TSC to start processing. Now TSC is doing an excellent job. Many approvals a day. It should not take very long for them to process the first transfers ( but remember several thousand files were transferred in march - 6 weeks of petitions). Now VSC has sent another 6 weeks of files, for a total of 3 months work for TSC to complete. It will take time, but faster than if we were left at VSC. With this many transfers, there is no way to keep all files in the order they were first received. They will probably give batches to officers to complete. Some will process faster than others. IE... one officer gets NOA1 dates of 3,4,5 and another gets 6,7,8 and another gets 9,10,11,12. This is why we may see cases completed on one day with people from the 3rd, 6th, and 10th. Lets be patient, anyway there is not much we can do. So no reason to get upset - it is out of our hands. All will be well. To show our appreciation to VSC for dumping 3 months of cases, maybe for Christmas we can send them boxes filled with roaches and BED BUGS! LOL. Just kidding.

Will take about a week for files to get to TSC, as they go back through distribution center. At least things are moving for us.

Just out of curiosity, what ended up happening with all of this?

I filed my 129-F in mid July, got my NOA1 end of July, got an alien ID number beginning of august and now today I got the update saying we were transferred to our local office for processing.

I mean, based on what everyone is saying - it seems to be something good and potentially mean an approval of some sort is in the near future - however it hasnt even been a full month since we initially filed?

Any thoughts?
