Ok - would you not see that a guy was SICK while DATING HIM? How did it get so far as to even consider a marriage contract.

maybe she got pregnant... and couldn't afford to either have the baby and give it up for adoption (medical costs can be alot)... or to raise the baby (even more expensive).. or to abort the baby(probably the cheapest of the three)... so she decided to marry the father to have the money for any of the above

To be honest, we'll probably never know. We can only speculate. Which sometimes is much more fun then knowing the truth :-)

That contract while not one that you would expect a wife to agree with is a bit tame. I have seen others much more demented, but both parties were in agreement, and in circles mentioned before by others.

I am surprized that he gave her a copy if she did not sign it, one would think he would demand it signed then and keep the only original with no copy for her, this would be more in par with the mindset of this wannabe control freak,=.

Ok, the whole GBD thing and if she is noncompliant he can tie her up and do what he wishes until she complies (page 2) is rape....I mean, all of the other things I've read so far are nuts, but don't seem illegal if she agrees. And here I am, wondering around in long pj's most of the day its almost midnight and I just dragged myself to the shower like 1 hour ago... and my legs havent been shaven for the past week.... guess I failed in his book huh
