You and me both. If we were paid by the hour by VJ lets see i am literally here 20/7. I so need a life (or a man). idea9dv.gif

I'd rather have a life than a man if it came down to having to choose. But having both is handy! :D

Paid AOS and now fourth payment has been generated...... Should I send AOS packet as didn't get their email to send that...????

After payment after how long they take to send email to send packets...???

Thank you in advance...

Do you mean the IV invoice? It's not fourth - it's I.V. as in Immigrant Visa :)

Send the AOS if the payment has cleared your bank. They will not send you emails to send them packages.

JennyWhiteley, I wanted to apologize if my concurring with Saylin contributed to your feeling singled out. When I read her post,I thought she was referring to the multitude of posts across the VJ site lately where the OP's are stressing out from not having an NOA2 after 2 or 3 months. I've been on the site for years (yes, I've made waiting comments myself, guilty as charged), however, years ago, everything took longer (still does for some countries). We are all stuck in this government hole, and waiting is the name of the game for all of us.

Anyway, good luck!

Thanks very much :) I do realise that the posts were not personally targeted at me obviously, but as they were in response to, and quoted my direct message it did feel as though I was being singled out for making one upset comment and then getting all of the anger about all of the posts back at me. :) I really appreciate your comment though, thank you very much :) I'm usually much more laid back than this but I'm obviously just as stressed as everyone else and so I took everything a little personally :)

Thanks again!

Just to update everyone, I paid my AOS bill on Thursday and it was taken out our account in Saturday morning so we sent off the completed AOS packet on Saturday, yay!! :D now we just need to send of the IV packet, but I do have a lovely treat in 4 days, I get to see my husband after 5 months away!! It's ridiculous to think I've not seen him for longer than the couple of months we had together after we got married! Not how I imagined my first year if marriage, but I did sign up for the hard times as well as the good ;) good luck for the week ahead everyone!!

Thanks!! Yeah, 5 months without seeing him, and before that it was 24 hours together while on honeymoon, it's felt really weird not being with him for all this time! When I miss him I just pretend he is at a friends house or at the pub :P we are meeting in Faro, Portugal, because we don't want to risk either of us being turned away at the others border because if "overstay" risks! :P good excuse for a lovely holiday :D 9 months must have been so hard, thanks for helping us all out! thanks!!

Enjoy your vacay with your hubs. :) Be happy that you're almost done! Most people are not at the NVC stage when you are. You've had a pretty quick journey so far.

That's it. I'm not calling NVC again. Just gonna wait for my case complete email. Just called to see if they had started looking at our corrected AOS and the rep said "you have to wait 20 business days" (fair enough), then I asked "has it been recieved or put onto your system yet?" - and she raised her voice and repeated YOU HAVE TO WAIT 20 BUSINESS DAYS MA'AM".

Grrrr. So bloody rude. Some of the reps are so great and polite. I'm just stressed and miss my hubby, don't need her attitude sad.png

Rant over.

I completely understand how you feel about NVC. I feel like this if you can't be polite at a job that clearly deals with customers then leave. Go be a janitor or something. Its already stressful waiting to hear something and then to get yelled at for asking a simple question will make any person blood boil.
