Sounds like a false checklist based on them reviewing (and accepting) your IV package. Call up to confirm!

You can send IV package with the barcoded coversheet, even though it is still in process.

Interesting question.

There's a huge difference between

1. being arrested

2. being charged with a crime

3. being convicted of a crime

so if #1 happened and #2 happened but not #3, for example, there's still going to be a court document set . Also, if #3 not occur, then there is no criminal record , per se but there will be a court record .

Again, that's just an example. I'm not an attorney nor do I play one on TV - so , as with everything, YMMV, greatly.

4. A non-US citizen makes verbal accusations against you, to a US Embassy, with no proof of any wrongdoing?

why No. 4.? because my wife has never been arrested, charged with a crime or convicted of a crime.

So why does a non-US citizen able to nullify what the Police Certificate says?

If they just want to be 100% sure, why don't they demand court records from everybody?

so, is TPC? Third Party Correspondence? The Embassy is reacting to Third Party Correpondence? Yikes and OUCH !

If an extended investigation was ordered by the US Embassy, and then a field agent INTERVIEWED this third-party - they do take into consideration what is said. Ultimately, it's up to the Vice-Consul, Chief of Immigrant Visa Section there, to actually make the determination of approval or denial.

Now I can understand yer prior questions about the Fraud Prevention Unit.

So, it's sounding like TPC is involved and it's currently messy.

I really don't know what to tell you... Except...

you've given out this info over days, a few weeks, piecemeal. Could you redo 'the telling' and tell all in one message, one post, perhaps a new topic here at VJ? I'm a thinking if you TELL ALL, someone can give you accurate advice.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Just called the nvc Finally they started reviewing the new forums for the i864 Yaaay I can't believe it i hope to get good news soon is there hope for me to get July interview

I just called too (twice), but I doubt if they really have started reviewing the new version, because if they did, Shelley should have told me their generic answer,'to give them 20 days to review it..' Instead she told me, 'reviewing the AOS new version is on the way but I can not give you a definite timeframe!' IMO, NVC is just giving us false reassurances so that we will stop bothering them about the new form, AS IF?! lol

My IV packet has been entered into their system just yesterday and she told me to wait 20 days for them to review my IV packet.. See what I mean?

But lets see, maybe afterall they are telling the truth..

I still can't get a confirmation from NVC that our case is there. Urgh!

However, our congressional liaison informed me that NVC told her on 6/5 that the file is at NVC, but could be another couple of weeks before it's assigned to someone. Can they not tell me it's there until it's assigned? Dunno.

But, she also told me about confusion at the local office, where her liaison there first told her the file is going to NVC, then few days later to NRC, to which she raised red flags, and then he again confirmed it'll go to NVC. So, is it really at NVC, do they have the same confusion going on - who knows at this point. Until I can get a confirmation myself from someone at NVC, I'll keep bugging them.

Of all the 2013 filers from Saylin's spreadsheet, we officially now have just one other case that waited longer than us (65+ days) to get to NVC - luisa1625, 93 days - Ouch!

. yeah because of that plans change I supposed not to renew a work contract but because of what happen got plan change because my interview will be in sg. Just wanted to have case finish and so that can file my resignation but need to wait 3 months before I can be with my husband. my approval when uscis transfer my approval to nvc I got an email and my post activity in uscis says they already send my file to NVC after a week i got email April 16 and April 22 NVC confirms my file is with them. I think you need to contact NvC and USCIs again

yes, somehow the TPC got an interview at the US Embassy, and we found this out the last time my wife had her visitors visa approved. Well at this point in time I am done venting, The good news is, I have been able to call the Embassy on the telephone and was able to talk to somebody at the Embassy. It is a secret phone number that is not made public that we got when they sent my wife an email. they said we should have a positive issue in 3 days. So next week we should hear the good news. I hope so! and thank you for your reply and look forward to you next.
