The good news (for George Zimmerman) is that he does not have to "convince a jury" he was "totally right". He only needs to convince ONE person out of 12 that he "might be right". Those 12 people come from Florida and he gets to pick them. Does that make any difference to you? He is not going to be tried by an activist judge on loan from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

It is rather simple when you eliminate the racist BS from the issue. He claims he had reason to fear death or severe injury as a man, OK lets say "person", smashed his head on the sidewalk. How is that not reasonable? How are you going to convince 12 people, unanimously, in Florida that he did NOT have a reason to fear death or severe injury as he had his head smashed on concrete? Can you even be serious? You are joking, right? How would 12 people be convinced that by leaving his automobile he provoked the incident? Really. So then any time I leave my house I am provoking an incidence of violence? If I am assaulted on a city street is it "my fault" because I should have stayed home? How is it "provocative" for a neighborhood watch member to approach a stranger and say "Excuse me, I am the nighborhood watch guy and I am wondering what you are doing here" ??? How do you convince 12 people that is not what he did? If you do not believe Zimmerman, ask Martin, right? The concept is nonsense.

Zimmerman would not even have been charged (as indicated by it being 2 months after the incident when it even became public) had it not been to satisfy racists. So you think that prosecutors in Florida, who passed up this case for two months, suddenly realized they had enough evidence to convict him when the racists were woken up? The idea is too bizarre for people with functional brain cells to discuss.

Now, Patriot can go and post old information (clearly written before "stand your ground") and you can point out that he was a "juvenile" all you want and it makes no difference. I am not "ignoring facts". I am ignoring that which makes no difference. Obsolete laws will not be used to judge anyone and Zimmerman is not going to be reasonably expected to be able to discern the age of the person smashing his head on the sidewalk. Age does not matter. There is no age limit attached to self defense. What a "reasonable person" can expect is the threshhold. You also seem to ignore the fact that only ONE person is going to testify to that jury. Everything else is circumstantial, irrelevent or speculation. ONLY George Zimmerman was there and ONLY George Zimmerman can say what happened with certainty.

Racists, fascists and others who hate the idea of freedom and rights, except as held by the government, want to find a way to send a man that defended himself to prison. Such is not to be allowed. These haters have been unable to block or repeal laws which enable Americans to be free and walk safely in their own cities. In their impotence they simply desire to punish someone, for something.

It is not going to work.

In the end, the attempt to satisfy racists is going to backfire and the reaction to that will be worse than yours. I do not expect them to "admit they were wrong". Certainly Florida has a poorly enough NRA sponsored law that George may get away with killing an innocent kid, but it is far from clear that he will. However the right to cause a confrontation and end it with deadly force is freedom only to the criminally insane.

George could only assume, and assume he did, that Treyvon was a bad guy. Treyvon chose to stand his ground when cornered by an armed candy a $$. The original errors in judgment are all clearly and squarely made by George.
