Hi All,

Me n my fiance got approval for our K1 visa processing on May 7th 2013. And we are waiting for further proceedings. Actually I have one doubt regarding the submission of affidavit of support. My fiance, who is the petitioner, says that she didnt submitted the affidavit of support when she filed our I-129f. Her understanding is that, NVC will provide the affidavit of support form once the packet reaches NVC from uscis and asks us to fill and return it back to NVC. Kindly help us to know where we need to submit the affidavit of support form?(@ NVC or @ the time of my counsilate interview). From where we can get the form. Also if I submit the form at the time of interview, will that make any problem. Please guide us...

Regards,

Fidanza

The USC petitioner needs to fill it out (get it from USCIS site) and send it to you along with other financial documents that prove what you wrote in the form (bank statements, tax records, employer letters, pay stubs). You take it to the interview.

My attorney told me to have the I-134 notorized, I don't know if this was a requirement or not but he made it seem like it was. Good luck

As far as I know you don't need it notarized, just original signature is ok...

you should just use the guides and not use a lawyer..

you still have to give lawyer all the information.. and they fill in the blanks..

or you could keep your money..

get all in your information.. and fill in the same blanks for free :)

Yeah when this all started I considered doing it myself. I hired a lawyer just to put my mind at ease, it's so much less stress that I don't have to deal with. Id worry about missing one little thing or form and getting a RFE, don't want this taking any longer than it has to.

Hope your lawyer is competent. Nobody cares as much for your case as yourself.
