mine sat at USCIS for a month after it was approved...then after i sent the NOA2 to nvcresearch they reopened t and issued an RFE instead of sending it on. Maddening. And they won't tell me what for either, they said "wait till you get the paper copy" ranting33va.gif

still waiting on nbc to forward our petition to nvc... sad.png

It's not at the nbc.. it's sitting at the local office that approved it waiting to be batched out.

Turns out that this a normal process. I had this confirmed at an infopass appointment.

I have already started the complaints and congress involvement.

Sometimes you have to make a lot of noise or it will just take it's sweet time.

After 67 days, I finally finally got the case number!!! I can't contain my excitement!! She told me she can't take my email address yet (something about two people on the case at once), but she said call Monday(they are closed tomorrow). Thanks everyone for the support and wish everyone the best :) I'm signing off on this forum, but do message me :)

I want to share my horror story. My case was approved on May 2 for spousal visa. As per Nvc I had to wait 15 business day and surely 15 business day passed by and nothing was on NVC system. I decided to call USCIS after 26days. At first I was told that it will take more time but i demanded that I need answers. After talking to tier 2 officer he came back and told me it was probably sent to wrong location from NBC. I was furious at this point!!! I decided to contact my congressmen and senator. I wrote a letter to them about my problem. Congressmen first and then senator. Congressmen office nice enough to contact USCIS. I had called USCIS yesterday and they told me i should hear something from NBC by june 13. This is ridiculous? Just wondering if anyone else went through same situation?

insist on talking to an IO at uscis .. they have to go through half a dozen screens to see all the tags, but they can tell you where it was last and where it was going to next and when
