I dislike when I see (K-1) people bragging that they got AOS and ROC approved "without interview" as though they are somehow superior to everyone else because they weren't randomly selected for an interview. No RFE's I can understand bragging about. But no interview, give me a break.

Oh dang! Oh no! I think my signature says that. Was only meant for information. It actually took longer for AOS than all the people in our month who got interviews. At the time I was wishing for an interview, even with the long drive into the big city. On the ROC, I read how the applications are "graded" and what scenarios and percentages would get an interview. I think it was the Adjudicator's Field Manual, but don't have a bookmark on this tablet.

It isn't really even the timelines, mostly it is when people say in a post something like "well I got my AOS and ROC approved without interview..." as though that somehow makes them godly in the world of immigration knowledge.

Can see why you perceive it that way. Given the inability of the printed word to convey tone, it could merely be a statement of fact. Much depends on the context -- how they say it.
