I want to do walk in biometric, but read in some forum that New Orleans Office does not allow walk in biometric.

Can anyone help me in this regard?

It will be stuck in acceptance stage until you get approved or get an RFE. Unless you file for a change of address, then it gets to Initial Review.

Yes it was quick but im not really happy because I wasnt expecting RFE at this early stage. My biometric appointment is on Monday 20/05/2013.

Just got back home from my biometrics appointment - had to go to the Chula Vista field office, I guess they don't do biometrics at the San Diego downtown office which would only be 3 miles away, but anyway...

I walked in 20 minutes early, had to fill out a form with my personal information, including height, weight, eye color, hair color, etc., then I waited for about 5-10 minutes (there were only 2 people in front of me) until I got called. The lady took all my fingerprints, first the 4 fingers of each hand together, then each finger individually, at the end she took a photo of me and that was it. I walked out after about 20 minutes.

It was an ok experience, not overly friendly, but quick and professional.
