Hello April filers. I'm just one of you guys who filed last April and still I don't have a interview appointment yet. Got my ead and AP already. Is there anyone have the same situation as mine ? Because everytime I'm looking here seems like everyone have/had their interview already .thanks.

Hello April filers. I'm just one of you guys who filed last April and still I don't have a interview appointment yet. Got my ead and AP already. Is there anyone have the same situation as mine ? Because everytime I'm looking here seems like everyone have/had their interview already .thanks.

Same here. It is hard to be patient when you see almost everyone got the date already. Look at my timeline. The case went to 'testing & interview' over a month ago and I still haven't heard anything.

4/12/13 - sent I-485 package

4/15/13 - USCIS Chicago Lockbox received package

4/22/13 - got email and txt

4/29/13 - received NOA in mail

5/08/13 - received biometrics appointment for 5/22

5/09/13 - successful early walk in at Port Chester, NY office

5/22/13 - I-485 updated to Testing & Interview

6/18/13 - EAD went to production

6/21/13 - Card/Document Production for EAD - second email

6/24/13 - EAD mailed

6/26/13 - EAD arrived

7/18/13 - got email about interview

7/20/13 - got hard copy interview letter

08/23/13 - interview - Approved dancin5hr.gif(card production & decision email)

08/28/13 - card production - second email

08/29/13 - card mailed

09/03/13 - card arrived

05/27/2016 - N-400 mailed

06/02/2016 - NOA date

06/24/2016 - biometrics appointment

11/28/2016 - interview scheduled for January 9th, 2017

Same here. It is hard to be patient when you see almost everyone got the date already. Look at my timeline. The case went to 'testing & interview' over a month ago and I still haven't heard anything.

Your lucky. Mine I can't see at all at the uscis site. It always says that my receipt number can't be found yet. Lol yeah sometimes it drives me crazy on waiting lol

That sucks big time. Did you try calling them?

A little p... off now... I got an RFE 2 days after the interview, it's about the i-864 affidavit of support. As my wife is only working part time now, she doesn't meet the requirements alone, that's why we used my assets to make up for the difference. As I have not yet transferred all of my assets to the U.S., I still have shares and investment funds in Germany in EUR currency, for which I attached proof with the original I-864. So now they require current bank statements for funds in US Dollars, with a U.S. bank, apparently they don't trust my proof from European banks...

No word about that during the interview, it seems like they didn't even check my application in detail before the interview!

No way!?! That's terrible and I'm so surprised that happened to you guys!

It does make it seem as though they didn't thoroughly check your paperwork before the interview... ugh... how frustrating!

Now I'm a little more nervous for our interview on Monday :(

I am in the same situation as you. I have my combo card, received it a couple of weeks ago - but the receipt number for my I-485 is not even recognized on the system. Do you think it is worth calling them, or is it just a case of waiting it out?

I was very encouraged to hear that I am not the only one! Although at the same time I am sorry that you have to wait too. I suspect that we may both end up without the interview but having to wait ten or so months for our card.

Got email today that my EAD is approved and no update on the 1-485. I guess I won't have interview and have to wait like 10 months also.

I got all the requested evidence together now, will send it out today. I hope that they'll be happy now... I reread all the USCIS guidelines online and in my opinion we submitted everything we needed to with the first I-864, so this RFE didn't really make a lot of sense to me. Just created a bit of a hassle.
