At the end of the day we only know 100% of our own story and have to take the rest as good faith. I know that my relationship and marraige is true so I know if they want more info,Ive got it. Ive gone through the stressing my head out stage and I an now trying to not send myself ceazy with second guessing. In realilty we dont know what the situation is until we get our OWN letter/msg. Until then, its all conjecture.

I also submitted just the basics...seriously we can't be blamed...the I-130 form makes the additional stuff sound optional...it says something like "recommended". That is not the same as "required". If they want it up front they should adjust the wording.

However, I too am worried, even though everyone is saying "just wait, if they want more they'll give you RFE"...that OP a few pages back said she got a letter of intent to deny her I-130 for lack of bona fide marriage....NOT an RFE. Or is the letter the same as an RFE...I'm assuming since its "intent to deny" there must be some sort of opportunity to reply?

So what is it? They deny out right sometimes and send RFE others? I'm so sick of playing at the Casino USCIS. None of their games have any set rules and we NEVER get to see the cards their holding.

So what are the chances that anyone will be working next week at the USCIS???

Vacations are all over the place at my job. One girl is off all next week, I'm off the week after, and others are off all over December. We all know how those government jobs are. More vacation than time working, right???

I am disappointed that May and June are getting transferred and there are still April files sitting at the NBC.

5 more days and I'm out for 11 days...

Oh my goodness!!

JUST GOT APPROVED!!

I've been reading this forum since it only had 10 pages and have been checking this forum out constantly, but have never posted anything till now!!!

I had a PD date April 11, 2013 and got approved today November 22, 2013!! I literally had to leave work from the excitement I got from receiving a notification for my approval via the USCIS Case Status App for android.

The case was adjudicated from NBC (never transferred nor RFE nor applied for K3).

Had an infopass approximately 3 weeks ago and was told that my case has been assigned to someone on October 17, 2013.

I did attempt to expedite (due to the political situation of the country) 2 weeks ago via a very rude senator rep, I doubt this was the reason I received the approval because I also sent along with the expedite another G1145 to be notified by my new phone number and never received the notification.

I just want to let you guys know to hang in there. I totally understand how difficult it is to be separated from your loved one for so long, but I promise the wait is well worth it! Just have patience! The greater the struggle, the greater the happiness!!

There is no doubt that USCIS messed up here and someone needs to be fired over that person's incompetence. However, I do not agree with the generalizations about government jobs. The vast majority of government workers work hard and serve the public. Private companies make mistakes all the time. Yes, I know the response is that we find a diffrent company. But these solutions are not transferrable to government. Want to find a different country?

Don't get me wrong--I hate the USCIS for what they are doing to me and my wife. But I draw the line about making generalizations about all government workers or all of government.

I made a info pass appointment for Monday and I'm going to try to expedite my case due to the bad conditions where my wife lives there was to bombing near where she lives and it's not safe there anymore :( so I hope they can do something to help my situation.

an i-130 adjudicated at the NBC wow.gif

I was surprised too. That gives me hope.

One question though.... she said she asked for an expedite but does not think that was the reason for the approval... I was wondering if they might be hoarding the files that requested expedites at the NBC and just adjudicating them there instead of transferring them??? Does that make sense?? Even though they aren't technically expedited.
