The closer May draws upon us, the more nervous I become-even though I'm not the one who will be attending the interview! I hope everyone gets the desired outcome!! :)

I draw my hope from the fact that March 5th ( the day we got the interview notice) had been announced to me several weeks prior(weird i know) so I am trusting God for his perfect will that day whatever it is....It is so hard to think out the possible outcomes!

last week was filled with good news. Here is hoping the same for this week: Vikingmama and everyone else being interviewed this week.

Update : the embassy received the package from NVC on sunday... since this was "supposedely" an expedite, the embassy needs to assign an interview date... waiting...

I say "supposedely" expedite as nothing has been expedited so far. I went through the NVC process with the regular timelines and now I wonder if I should have just let NVC assign an interview date.

Sorry if I by chance was messing up. Im still trying to navigate my way through this without getting completely lost, lol. I am anxiously waiting on an interview date for the Montreal office for my husband. I can not wait for this to be done!! This forum has been my lifeline. The only problem I have is that when I find the answers to my questions I never know how to get back to them at another date.....so my favorites is filled up with tons of posts, lol. Oh well.....I have made it this far so I must be doing ok :) Oh.....I just discovered the timelines of other VJers and that has been extremely helpful in preparing me for the interview :) Thanks again everyone....so helpful!!

Wife had interview today. All went well except her medical files were't there. They gave her a 221g and said they will call her once her medical file shows up, and to bring in her original civil docs, still on the way from NVC but should be here this week. So, looks like we'll be going back in on Thursday/Friday to finish up the petition. We're feeling pretty confident that she'll get her visa.

The consular just asked her three questions. Name? Your husband is a USC? You have two USC children? Finished. Oh, they looked at our photo album.

So, if you want an easy interview this is what you do: You marry your foreign spouse; move to her country and live there for eight years and have two USC children.smile.gif

LOL now stop it now. Any word on expedite? Hubby ready? has he had medical yet?

On the expedite,I thought i posted abt their response :blink: . They had replied that the demand for dates makes it impossible to grant any expedite request at this time . Then I remembered about my March 5th dream and decided to let it go and keep this God-given date. I can't believe it just 10 days away now. Hubby completed medicals. we just try to go over stuff every now and then. I just want him to organize the docs in a way that will make it easy for him to retrieve any evidence when asked.

GOD has been WONDERFUL!!!

Update : the embassy received the package from NVC on sunday... since this was "supposedely" an expedite, the embassy needs to assign an interview date... waiting...

I say "supposedely" expedite as nothing has been expedited so far. I went through the NVC process with the regular timelines and now I wonder if I should have just let NVC assign an interview date.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............

Thank you... I think my embassy (Algiers) is very slow... They took 1 month to approve the expedite. My case at NVC completed by then...

But I will stay hopeful:-)

26-Sep-12 - Became US Citizen (I did wait for this to file I-130. I think I should have filed as LPR and upgrade my case later)
3-Oct-12 - I-130 Sent (Fedex)
23-Jan-13 - NOA2 : Interview at field office - APPROVED same day!!!
