I was just wondering what the longest timeframe anyone has endured thus far for the I129F visa being processed at CSC. The 29th of March will be 7 months for me and I would like to know how much longer I should anticipate before getting a response.

August 6th CSC filers here. 33 weeks as of today, or 231 days and counting. I wrote a letter to our congressman. The office responded and said that they had sent an inquiry on our behalf. Not sure it'll speed up this ridiculously slow and frustrating process. I was expecting a NOA2 within 5 months. We're now closing on 8 months here with no end in sight...

I called today and they said they were processing July 19 applications.

...I called 5 weeks ago and they said they were processing July 18th....I called 5 weeks prior to that and they said the same thing then too. The information you are given when you call these numbers is not accurate.

What about calling and asking to speak to a supervisor?

If your application does take more time than indicated in their processing times, don't hesitate to bother them by calling as much as possible. This may sound bad but I've seen lots of cases where perseverance paid at the end.

My 2 cents.

Good friends of ours, back just before we went through that part of the process, took 10 months.....no RFEs and he's military.

So my oontinuing comment to wait 10-12 months seems more appropriate considering the state of the facts these days. No commentary if this is acceptable or not; just present reality.

I do remember when VSC folks took the longest and their wailing and moaning was similar.
