Conflicting answers about G-325A question "This form is submitted in connection with application for"

I have seen people say to put "other" "form I-130" on both forms for beneficiary and petitioner on G-325A, and have also seen people say to put "status as permanent resident" for the beneficiary and "other" "form I-130" for the petitioner. Could someone please clarify which is the right way to do it. Maybe someone that has gone through the process and gotten it approved. Thank you

Check the box that says, "Status as Permanent Resident" because that's what form I-130 is, adjusting legal status. I got my form I-130 approved. I know it can be confusing, I asked my friend who went through the same process. Good luck!

The G325 form is a general ifnromation form. Actually the actual visa application for permanent residence does not happen until NVC stage ( after USCIS approval). USCIS is able to connect the dots though so either method o replying to that does not really matter. we checked "other" and put "I-130 petition" for both petitioner and beneficiary.

I did the same as ndu, checked other and wrote in form I-130 and we're at the NVC stage now.
