Is this a Philippine Embassy issue only?

I've enjoyed having the Embassy reviews and have gone over about 120--oops, I mean about 80.

Why 80 if I've looked over 120? Because there are many duplicates, triplicates and all the way up to...yes, dozenplicates--12 identical repetitions of the same review. (See revtech's review in the Philippine Embassy review).

It's not a big deal, but I cannot help but wonder how twelve duplicates of the same review manage to enter the system.

Is this a Philippine consulate bug only or system-wide?

Just curious, even if there are dozenplicates, the feature is still very nice and I thank VisaJourney for it.

I do not think its related to visajourney site... its with the computer/internet connection of the one who is writing the review... the reviewer clicked the submit button several times thinking that it did not went through... thus, the duplicate post.

That's what I thought at first...but who would click twelve times? And there are many 4, 5 and 6 multiples.

I could see a few doubles but twelve? I suspect something wrong with the system here.

I think this is what it is also. I've seen this happen in posts. People keep hitting reply or submit over and over and don't get a response. Then you see a post 5 or 6 times.

but who would click twelve times?

filipinas do... i had an experience when I was still in the Philippines using my smartbro... i click it 3 times i think... then i saw my duplicate posts... i just deleted the other two... some is not aware that they did so... so they just let it be, or they do not know that they can delete their own post.

Ah! So it's a cultural thing. Perhaps it's actually a minor form of tampo... :P

Might be a way to screen this. I can update the code to check for multiple submissions of the same thing and ignore the subsequent ones.
