Congrats. Am so happy for you. I will be watching your timeline to see how long it takes to get your interview in Nairobi, as my husband will be interviewing from there too. I hope our approval comes soon!! Best wishes to you as you continue this journey.

Thanks Mrs Aloto :) and all the best to you & your husband. I'm hoping to get an interview about a month after the case is closed, Lord-willing. Will keep you posted though. You're in our prayers as well.

09/26/2012: Mailed I-130 from Nigeria( delayed by customs)
USCIS stage ( 66 days)
10/12/2012: NOA 1
12/17/2012: NOA 2 (case was transferred to NYC office 11/27/12)
NVC stage ( 20 days)
01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).
01/28/2013: Case complete!!!
04/19/2013: Interview; APPROVED!!!!!

After waiting 240 days today, I checked my e mail just before going to bed and there it was!!!!! Oh my God we're so very happy!!!!! My husband and I were almost giving up. Thank you GOD, your timing is the best!!!!!

On to the next step!!!! Woohoo!!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

Congrats! I feel that today is my day. Im gonna report my NOA2 later yall.

I posted this yesterday, but I think my spidey sense was a little off... today is gonna be my day. I just received an email and text saying my case was updated. When I checked it said my name was updated, and I'm still on Initial Review. I called USCIS and was transferred to a Tier 2 rep, she assured me that the name update was an error just meaning that it was touched, and the case is with an adjudicator being decided right now. I guess its the same as the alien number change updates. So hopefully ill have an approval today. :)

10/10/07 - I-129F sent to VSC

04/30/08 - POE Newark

07/06/08 - Wedding..... I'm Married Yall!!!

I130 for Minor Child

7/26/12 - Sent to Chicago Lockbox

7/30/12 - Priority date

3/15/13 - NOA2!!!!!!!

3/25/13 - NVC received my case

4/08/13 - Emailed ds3032 template

4/09/13 - NVC case number and IIN number generated

4/11/13 - aos fee bill invoiced/paid/and pkg sent

4/12/13 - aos fee paid again after being rejected/ds3032 resent and accepted

4/15/13 - aos pkg delivered/iv bill invoiced and paid

4/16/13 - iv pkg sent express mail/ aos status changed to paid

4/17/13 - iv pkg delivered/ iv status changed to paid.

4/29/13 - Case Complete!

5/10/13 - Interview notice emailed.

I finally got NOA2 guys! Well I dont have it yet, but the I130's been approved today. I am beyond belief! I had resolved that it would take a whole year. I guess Im off to the NVC process now. :dance:
