Ditto. I'm not really sure what answer you're looking for - it's the age ol' question. Are you telling me you NEVER watch a Hugh Jackman movie and think "whoa" or walk by a guy and smell his cologne and think he smells delicious. Or have a guy smile at you in the street and check you over and even though you're perfectly happy in your relationship and head over heels in love it brightens your day knowing someone appreciates the way you look?

Because it's all the same as looking at porn. It's being stimulated (sometimes not even in a sexual manner) by a sight, smell, touch. It doesn't mean you love your partner any less or that you don't want him. Just like it doesn't mean he doesn't want you if he looks at porn.

I don't agree with the parallel to porn watching & passing a guy who smells nice. Two different levels there completely. I do agree that in some or most relationships - especially where both parties agree on the porn issue - then it's not indicative of any problems. But if I watch a movie and am like 'whoa' cos someone's handsome....I don't think it's the same thing as me and my partner watching two or more parties act like savage animals.

This is just my opinion obviously, but I think there's a lot more to the bond of sex & lovemaking that is spiritual about it....and porn IMO devalues the whole experience. You want to experiment with new exciting things? IMO one should be looking inside one's own bedroom instead of bringing outside influences in. But again, this is my own opinion, so take it for what it is.

I can definitley see your point. I took the question from a standpoint of the OP felt porn was somehow a 'cheating' or 'wanting of someone else" if a man looks at porn and, in my opinion, if you feel that way about porn you have to feel the same way about admiring an actor, a good smelling guy or a guy who throws you a 'how you doin'?" in the street.

As for how it affects everyone's personal intimiate relationship I think that decision is an indiviual and very personal one and I understand your stance, for your relationship, completley. To each their own in the bedroom! But I'm still staring at Hugh Jackman, dammit!

Okay, so this issue has been arrised in our relationship a few times. First I thought it was all fun and games, a found a few Playboy issues, which I will agree have a lot of good articles in them. Then I found a Girls Gone Wild video. Then I found that he was looking at a few sites on the computer. That's when I started getting a little nervous. Like I wasn't doing the job. So I started getting curious to know why, and what they have that I don't have. So I asked him about it. At first he wasn't straight with me. Told me that he would open him e-mail and a site would pop up. Of course I know better, they only pop-up when you click on the link. So I caught him one day when he not only went on to a sight, but watched a "preview" of one. I confronted him about it. He said he was just curious how they got the girls to do what they did. I told him I didn't like it. He hasn't done it again, that I know of, if he does, he has become much better at hiding it. Anyway, I came to the conclusion that it's okay if he watches/looks at porn, it's not like he can actually be with those girls. He's all mine!

Anyway, this past weekend while I was having coffee with a good friend, the subject of porn came up while we were passing an adult movie theather. She told me that she and her husband made an agreement to watch it together only and that things had gotten better in the bedroom. So I was thinking that if he likes it, or is curious about it then maybe we could watch it together. Haven't figured out how to bring this up to him yet, but I am sure I will soon.

OP- I think it's normal for guys(and some girls) to be curious about things like this. You just have to look at the bright side of it, yes there is a bright side. Your SO chose you! Hope you find what you are looking for.

The idea of the study was to see reaction differences between the sexes. The surprising thing was the differance in the focus between men and women. Men were watching the ACTION in the film. Women were watching the PEOPLE in the film. As a matter of fact most men couldn't even remember what the man and women in each clip looked like. They just remember what was 'performed' in the film. The women on the other hand could remember each and every hair and blemish on the 'actors'.

Also, when I have watched, the one thing I really notice is how cheesy and how fake they can be.
