I received an email from NVC which I've pasted below. I sent in my AOS package which was accepted without an RFE. Then I sent the IV package with all the requested evidence which was received by NVC on 02/14/13. So could this be a fake checklist for the IV packet?

What makes you think this is fake? You should receive a hard (mailed) copy of same in a few days, confirming that it is real - You can call them and confirm that it is real - but by no means should you assume it is a fake. Good luck.

I assumed it's a false checklist because I already sent in my IV packet so there's no reason for them to ask for it again. And I know NVC tends to send out the check list for the second packet once the first one is received just to let us know that we have to send in the next and last package. I'm pretty sure they haven't entered my IV packet into the system because it just reached on the 14th of this month so they still haven't processed it. Also I came across lots of people who were sent a false checklist so I just wanted to double check. However thank you for your input.

They've probably not yet received or processed your IV packet. Call NVC on Tuesday (they're closed Monday) to check out wether that file has been received.

I'm guessing the same. Thank you. Also why is NVC closed on Monday?

Never mind. I know why. Being away from home makes it difficult for me to know what's happen in the U.S lol. Thanks anyway.

Yes, that'd be the false checklist, generated after your AOS package was approved good.gif Call next week to confirm.

Don't worry about the checklist. Your IV packet is still in the NVC mail room & has not been reviewed yet. In my case, it took them at least less than a week to review mine. I sent it Feb 4. I called a week later & they told me the case is complete.

I haven't received a single mail (hard copy) ever since the case(s) were being processed in NVC. Sometimes they have different people working on the petitions/cases.

I received two false checklists,

(1) For my dad's case, that they are waiting for the choice of agent email. When in fact the day before that they sent the applicant an email of the acceptance of the choice of agent.

(2) For my mom's case, that they are waiting for the IV Fee payment. When in fact. I only received the IV Bill like less than an hour ago. headbonk.gif

I received exactly the same checklist. So that means they approved and reviewed my AOS documents? I sent my IV documents yesterday. But definitely I will call on Monday to find out if they did accepted my AOS without any problems..
