Got my bio today :)

But I cannot make the appointment :(

Noticed date is 4/18 and bio date is 5/8

Has anyone had any luck requesting bio be done on a certain date or day of the week?

Can you try a walk-in?

I live 3 hours from nearest office so walk in is not possible but my schedule just opened up and I can now make it. Thank te Lord!

:D I received this morning a text message and an e-mail stating:

Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number ********. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your case using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.

I just check my bank account, checks have been cashed!!!! :o

Did you send yours to the P.O. Box 21251 too? That has the zip code 85036?

When I checked my status on USPS website, it said it was delivered to 85034 on the 18th. Did it say the same thing for you??

Yep!!! Don't worry Azure30. Everything is going to be OK!!! My case is going forward, and I am sure yours too!!! Today for sure you'll see some activity on yours!!! Good luck! :thumbs:

I'm wondering, on the interview, does your spouse need to be there? My DH is disabled and he is in constant pain. Is he's presences need in the time of interview? Thanks in advance.

To answer your question though, I've heard of people asking for a specific date, but none approved for bio. I think they do things on specific days. Glad you didn't need to try it! It'll soon be all over!

Yeah I live in Pensacola Fl and a city this size doesn't really warrant a USCIS office

3 hours to the west is New Orleans, 4 hours to north is Birmingham AL, 5 hours to NorthEast is Atlanta GA, 6 hours to east is Jacksonville FL and 7 hours to the southeast is Orlando.

Not all cities are such a great deal in this game... My bio office is a 20min walk from home, but since apparently we immigrants are so plentiful in NYC, the whole process takes as much as 7 months here.

Anybody want to trade their faster processing time for my super-close biometrics office? :-D
