We received AP today. They want older documentation. Guven gave them 60 pages of emails (1 year old), 10 photos (I am not a photo person. Never have been, and probably never will be), and five months of call logs. I did not keep emails or phone records prior to this because I did not know this would be needed. He was a boyfriend I had while I was in Turkey for six months that I did not know I would 3 years later marry. I called MSN to see if they saved messenger chat logs, they do not. I called ATT to see if they have my phone records from the last 2 or 3 years. They stated they only go back 6 months. I truly do not know what to do. I wrote my congressman, Obama, and Biden but I know nothing will stem from that. I wrote the embassy and now I am just waiting. I am seriously crushed and I need help!

This sucks big time:( I wish I could give advice or say something helpful but I dont know what can be done. I hope to god they dont put us on AP but just incase they do, I have been saving our chatlogs from day one, I was a moron not to take pictures while I was there, didnt even cross our mind to take pics with eachother, kept taking pics of eachother. but when you say you didnt keep emails, did you deleted them? didnt he keep them atleast? do you guys have perhaps facebook messages, didnt he keep the msn chatlogs? There must be a way to give them what they need. I hope hope hope and pray that you guys can find those things and get your visa right away. Best of luck.

Thanks for the wishes! Well, I had emails going back to 2010 but he said it was not enough. I am hoping his computer has been automatically saving our chats and that would help us so much! I contacted the DOS and asked them if I could submit statements beginning when I lived in Turkey from people who knew us and our relationship from beginning to present (they said yes!). I also emailed the consolate to tell them I am able to fly out there if they need to interview me. Soooooo, heads up, try and get some photos of you both together. This is just a nightmare. I cried so much this morning! Now, my head is clearing and I am deciding how to handle business :)

Hi! I don;t know if this might help but I worked for at&T for seven months last year. We, the reps, can go back for as long as you have had the line. If you have had the line since 1999, we can go back then and most likely get the call details. Think about number changes you made on that line or if back then you were using other line. Let's say if you changed your line in 2009, then you tell the rep, I need the call details for my line, i changed the number so the old number was XXX, the rep pulls up the XXX number the old number and can see all the details! The only thing is that you need to ask can you confirm if you can retrieve call detail? (ask this to the rep), if you can I want printed copies of it so the rep will check, yes of course reps can! always!

If you have your online account set you can get your call detail up to 16 months in the past, for free. If you need further than that, yo you will need to do it through a rep and get it printed, it will cost you each copy about 5 dollars, lets say you need 3 months it will be 5 dollars each but you can negotiate. You can ask the rep ok what if I pay for two of the copies and you give me two for free. Or something like that. The rep most likely will do it, reps always want to help the customer!

It won't happen through the phone because the reps are not authorized to disclose call detail over the phone so it can be mailed to you or online up to 16 months at no charge and you print it out. So the going back six months only it's just a lie! maybe the rep is new and doesn't know how to go back years! that part on the system is little tricky.

If you feel the rep isn't helping, ask kindly for a supervisor. Supervisors are more skilled as they have more experience and for sure you will get what you need. Hope this information is useful for you as I see it might help in your case to get those call logs :) they show number, date, time, minutes per call, incoming and outgoing, local or international, it can be as long as 50 pages! :)

Good luck!

perhaps they want other evidence, listed in the 6 types in the I-130 instructions, instead of what you think they are asking for ?

Here's what I generated, a month after arriving back from the 'marriage trip':

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=218775&st=0&p=3324240&hl=Rusticentry3324240

and my interpretation of these 6 evidence types.

Compare my list with what you have generated, you might see some holes in your pile.

This really sucks! I'm very sorry to hear this. I worry about this too because I have only known my husband for 1.5 years. and just got married in Oct.

Just an idea .. Have you checked your computer for old MSN chats? When you run out of space on MSN it will ask you if you want to save the chat log. I had forgot about this till I was cleaning up my laptop last month. Maybe you will get lucky and you have them somewhere.

You didn't send affidavits from people that knew about your marriage with your I-130 ? Or do they want more? I sent 7 affidavits from family and friends that say they know our marriage is real.
