FINALLY got approved NOA2 is no longer a dirty word

Hi All,

We finally got approved today yes, the famous NOA2. :D:D Only 165 days from when we sent it....and we only got 3 email from CRIS so I hope they haven't stuffed mailing it to NVC. Hey, but I am so happy, we are all very lucky. Isn't it amazing how much weight and stress is lifted once you get this far. I was going nuts yesterday.

My fiance is away on military training and he called me today...15mins after we got off the phone we were approved....grrrrr. I can't call him now he is back out training so have to wait until I hear from him again probably another week. I am bursting to tell him and it's making me miss him more....oh well at least we got it.

Thank you to all of you for support and assistance. I am enjoying being a part of the big VJ family. On to the next part of the journey.

2010-02-08 Filed I-130 through Ca. Service center

2010-13-08 NOA 1 Received

2010-02-11 I-130 transferred to Tx. Service Center

2010-24-11 Notified by email TSC has received our petition and has begun processing it

2/21/2007---Packet 4 recieved.

3/12/2007---Interview (He Passed)!

3/12/2007---Administrative Processing begins.............God please help me get through this!

7/17/2007---Our 2 Year Anniversay!!!

10/23/2007--7 months and 2 weeks of A/P and still waiting..........God help me!

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

7/03/2008--Our Wedding Day!

Congratulations! And you are right... it is good to hear about others' approvals. Makes me smile :) I feel happy for you two and hopeful for our process!

Good luck with the rest of it! And with surviving all that happines within yourself untill you talk to your fiance again! lol

AOS process (after K-1):

24 July '07 - AOS application received by Chicago Office

09 August '07 - Biometrics appt letter

24 August '07 - RFE for I-485 (incomplete tax info sent!)

28 August '07 - NOA letters for AOS, EAD and AP

29 August '07 - Biometrics

AP - 12 October '07 - hard copy: multiple travel, valid 12 months

EAD - 18 October '07 - hard copy: valid from the date of 1st notice of card production

SSN - 30 October '07 (married name), applied Oct 18, same day I got my EAD

DL - 11 December '07 - driving test at DMV San Francisco. Yay! Now I can drive on the "wrong" side of the road!

21 November '07 - AOS Interview (Letter rec'd Oct 15) ----- A P P R O V E D ----- A P P R O V E D ----- A P P R O V E D -----
