any rfe slows down the case processing, regardless of where it is.

You are very close though, as an RFE doesn't get issued until an adjudicator actually reviews the casefile.

So, submit what they be asking for, nowish -you are very close - submit the stuff this week, you'll get an approval this month (I M O ) .

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I submitted our I-130 back in August we got a notice saying case has been transfered to the NBC in MO,however we got an RFE requesting evedince of bonafide marrige in Dec and they wanted us to send it to a local office in Chicago ILL,so we are assuming our case is now being handle in Chicago? Does any know if the local offices process faster than the NCB? Has anyone else had their cases transfered to Chicago? I'm wondering if them sending my case to a local office is a good thing? Send in all the info they requested on DEC28,2012. THANK YOU.

There's really not enough data to speculate on the time frame of the stuff there.

Some stuff is processed fast, others slow.

Some files are sent to local offices, some are not.

You just have to keep waiting.

Though seeing you're at Chicago does not make me hold out hope for a fast-ish approval. BLAH.
