The K1 with all the fee changes is actually $1650:

- Petition filing fee: $340

- Visa application fee: $240

- AOS application fee: $1070

TOTAL: $1650

CR1 has also changed

- Petition filing fee: $420

- I-864 fee: $88

- Visa application fee: $230

- USCIS processing fee (the new one): $165

TOTAL: $903

The field above fees mentions medical but medical very much depends on your country of origin and how many shots you need (for example in Australia I paid $400 for my medical including a Tdap shot). I believe the reference to medical should be removed and instead just say "visa fees (not including country specific costs such as medical and police checks)".

------

Also, I know it's been discussed before the but "extra notes" for the K1 is misleading to those who don't know the in's and outs. I believe it should be changed from "Must be married and file for AOS within 90 days of entering the US (as to not accrue unlawful status)." to "Must be married within 90 days of entry. AOS must be filed in order to gain LPR status. Failure to file AOS before I-94 expires accrues out-of-status days".

It would also be good to take a look at all content on that page. It still describes the K-1 as "The K-1 Visa allows for a "get to know your fiance better" period before marriage, since the visa is good for 90 days," for example. :bonk:

Part One: The K-1 Visa Journey:

USCIS Receipt of I-129F: January 24, 2012 | Petition Approval: June 15, 2012 (No RFEs)
Interview: October 24, 2012 - Review | Visa Delivered: October 31, 2012

Part Two: Entry and Adjusting Status:

POE: November 18, 2012 (at SFO) - Review
Wedding: December 1, 2012 | Social Security: New cards received on December 7, 2012.
AOS Package (I-485/I-765/I-131) NOA1: February 19, 2013 | Biometrics Appt.: March 18, 2013
AP/EAD Approved: April 29, 2013 | Card Received: May 6, 2013 | AOS Interview Appt.: May 16, 2013 - Approved Review Card Received: May 24, 2013

Part Three: Removal of Conditions:

It's listed as one of the "pluses" of the K-1 to boot!

The $165? No it doesn't actually. The K1 is a non-immigrant visa. the fee is for people who are issued GC on arrival, the K1 is not one of those and instead pays for AOS.
