Yes we are surving this. Maybe we should make a reality show. Hahahaha immigrations pressures of life. Who will survive the longest without their spouse? Find out in season 2.

All jokes aside, This would be a good way to expose our hardships and the tolls it takes on our lives.

Now that's a reality show I'd be interested to watch! I like that title. biggrin.gif

Hi! Got a case number! Whoa hoa! Im so happy i could do cartwheels in tha rain. But she told me it would be a couple of weeks for the AOS invoice hmmmmmmmm

if you have not received the AOS invoice, just call and tell them the case numbers are not working on the payment site and you are wondering what is wrong. It will prompt the operator to look into ur file and hopefully hours later they will send you the bill.

When I aksed why I did not have a case number yet, the guy, (smartly replied) maam, everybody case is different with different circumstances. Just be patient! I started to tell him I have been dude! But, I remembered to breathe. He has no idea how irritated I am with this process.

Congratulations...am happy for u but u should count yourself happy having been approved this January for September filer.

I am happy but just because it was a short approval doesn't mean this was easy. They should have approved us in a month. We have been together quite a while. I need to leave Sri Lanka and was told there was no DCF there and I had to file from the U.S. So I came home, found a job after 6 months, had to wait another 6 months to be able to receive permission from my job to take a vacation, I went over, we got married and then starting filing all of my paperwork. This as been really hard going from being with someone every single day, wake of the morning, watching the sun rise, dinner together, tea lunch, go to my job for events, slept together for over 365 days and be separated. We have a house together there and everything. So I am quite irritated with this whole thing. But, i'm trying not to be grouchy. kind of hard with a king size bed with one person in it.

That is really tough to be away from your spouse. It is indeed been a long process for you.

I've been having trouble getting sleep with this waiting. wacko.gif

I had a nightmare the other night that the Embassy shipped me the wrong husband in a box. I asked the embassy how could they make such a mistake. They said that the embassies are now responsible for choosing spouses for USCs. I said #######? Then I woke up. Hahahahaha
