Here is my theory on the K1 approvals. They say 5 months to process and they are going to use all of it. Especially from what I've heard others talk about them concentrating on other types of visas (nice work Obama). Of course we got the holidays coming up, so don't expect much to get done between now and the second week in January. At that point a lot of people are going to be over the 5 month period, so hopefully the CSC will pull their head out of their a** and start processing our stuff like they are capable of. That way us August filers will start seeing approvals in January. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

Until then I'll be checking the timelines everyday praying others gets approved, looking for some hope and progress with approvals.

NOA1 - 8/24/2012

NOA2 - 3/18/2013 Only took 207 days at CSC

Sorry but i think yours is out of ordinary-- u need to call CSC FOR sure.. no one will wait this long without any issues-- you've been waiting for almost a year --

I dont call CSC anymore they are completely useless. I have had three service requests, congressional inquiry, infopass, ombudsman inquiry all with no resolve. I am a military member with a securtiy clearance that has no criminal background and here I sit being jerked around. I have just hired a lawyer to start working on a WOM(Writ of Mandamus)to sue USCIS.
