Flight Delayed - Honolulu POE

Original flight was 8:40 PM MNL-HNL but he called me at 8:30 PM and said they're not boarded yet. He only had 2 hours in between from the time he lands, go through Immigration, baggage pick up, re-check in baggage and next flight to LAX. With the flight being delayed now (I'm not sure for how long) what are the chances he'll miss his LAX flight? I've read the POE reviews (less than 20 entries) and said it only took them at least 15 mins but he'll be in HNL by 2-3pm (I'm really praying it will be a slow day and they'll process him quickly)

Anxiety has kicked in once again. Surely these hiccups kept following us...

Appreciate any input.

I'm afraid this is COMPLETELY out of your control.

You can't control the airline boarding times

You can't control flight delays

You can't control on-air flight times

You can't control CBP

You can't control TSA

You can't control the urge Mike may have to stop at the restroom

no0pb.gif Do not stress over things you CAN'T control!

This is out of your hands. He's on his way and things will pan out. The important thing is that HE IS ON HIS WAY TO YOU...... I repeat, HE IS ON HIS WAY TO YOU!

What's the worse that can happen? He misses the connection? The airline will put him on a different flight.

BREATHE IN - BREATHE OUT

Yeah my self-diagnosed OCD could be a curse for most of the time :(

I've explained that he'll be on the next available flight and his current flight will not wait out for him to get on board.

It's bad enough that I've been up since 2am cleaning the house LOL now I have to stress about his delayed flight. I should have book him a direct flight. Oh well..

Thanks Celeste or C :P

I think either way you will be fine you are almost there. Congrats

Yeah thanks, I know and I would like a bottle of wine after all of this madness.

hehehe I'm Celeste.

I'm OCD too... perhaps, slightly less than you laughing.gif My words of advise, are the ones I use for myself to ease up on the craziness tongue_ss.gif and they usually help. Breathing, helps! Working out, helps!

When those two don't work.......It's 5 o'clock somewhere, girlfriend!

Hahaha I had my glass of margarita at 2pm yesterday, my coworkers took me out for a late lunch to celebrate but hey, that bottle of Merlot is staring at me right now LOL

Thanks everyone! I took a couple of hours of sleep, we had power outage here and gave me a reason to log off and stop worrying for a bit :)
