Just received email that the petition has been approved! Yeah, thank the Lord and just in time for my husbands birthday. For anyone whom is past this point of the process...what can we expect now? When I sent in the first packet, no additional information was requested, which is good...but what happens now?

NVC Doc Intake.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Just received email that the petition has been approved! Yeah, thank the Lord and just in time for my husbands birthday. For anyone whom is past this point of the process...what can we expect now? First of all Congrats on the NOA2

Your next step is to wait for your case to reach the NVC, it will be assigned a case number. You can start calling the NVC next week, I called every day until I received the case number, sometimes I called 2 or even 3 times a day (ekkkkk). You will not be able to do anything regarding the medical until your case is complete at the NVC and you receive your appointment date.

Right now you need to focus on preparing your AOS (Affidavit of support) packet, that is for you to complete. Your spouse needs to work on completing the IV Package (DS-230). Your spouse will also need to complete the DS-3023 (Choice of Agent), that will allow you to receive and handle things. Once your case has been received at the NVC and is assigned the number you will be able to login and pay the remaining fees for the AOS (Affidavit of support) packet $88.00 and the fee for the IV Package (DS-230) $240.00.

With the holidays approaching I would expect extra wait time as they will have days off for holidays. It should move quickly, still expect about another 4-6 weeks for the rest of your process.

Good Luck and Happy Holidaze to you and yours :star: :star: :star:

I searched ds 3032 but only found ds 3023...are they the same? They are both for authorized agent choice. and thank you!

Because she was transferred to NBC and didn't update her center.

Op can you please change to NBC so vsc stats are not skewed?

What do you mean change to NBC?

You mean to say that your paperwork went to vermont and never left vermont?

You never got notice of transfer to the national benefits center?

Given your time frame of happenings, that's what all signs are pointing to.

Unless you have some kind of expedite on your case.
