the center doesn't need to just approve u, they need to approve the other person ur applying the petition and each case is different!

Vermont Service Center...

- Aug 14th - I-129F Arrived

- Aug 15 - NOA1

- Aug 17th - Check cashed

- Aug 18th - touched

- Aug 24th - touched

- Aug 29th - touched!

- Sept 1st - touched??

- Sept 1st - approved little later after being touched!!

- Sept 2nd - touched - sent stuff to NVC?

- Sept 6th - NVC Received my case

- Sept 12th - petition forwarded to embassy

- Sept 14th - embassy receives it

- Dec.. - passes interview! .. Arrived to the US!

- Jan 15th - got married in vegas!!

- Jan 26th - went to SS office to apply and change last name

- Feb 8th - Received SS card with new last name!

- Feb 19th - Chicago received my application - delivered

- End of May Interview

- Less than 2 weeks later. Green card in the mail!

Maybe yours was selected as a training tool for a new employee and you just got real lucky.

Anyway, congratulations. Now get the remaining items together because the NVC can process her pretty quickly. You might have a nice present for Christmas this year. A new spouse.

Holy!!!!!!!! Quick come stand next to me and rub some of that magic off! I just sent my to VSC on Oct 31st a a fast approval like that i would have a heart attack! Congratulations to you!

That was really fast, ours was quick and it still took 21 days!

To those who think it is unfair...well it is, but if you cant celebrate then just stay away, none of us could choose the service center we wanted to go through, it is not anyone's fault living in a state or another.

I can't help but be happy for you and your short time frame (even though i am still waiting)...congratulations. The reason it is so easy to be happy for all the approvals that are happening is because we all know how hard it is to love our partners from far away and to wait patiently to be with them. So whether it's a fast or slow process for each one of us, it's still a gift when it comes through.

I wish you all the best for the next part of your journey together :D:D
