Is k1 visa issued after 221g is overcame

So I had my K1 interview at Delhi US embassy on 8th November 2012.Interview went good,I had all the documents but Fingerprint police clearance from Australia.As I was in Australia for 4 years.So I was given 221g stating submit Aussie police clearance with my passport to nearest vfs/Team Stanley office Chandigarh.So my question what is the possibility of me getting approved and how long does it take after submitting police clearance and passport US embassy will issue me the visa.

Assuming there is nothing bad on the police cert, you should get the visa within a few weeks of sumbitting it.

Thanks for your quick reply,Penguin.I may also add.I already have name and date of birth check from AFP(Australian Federal Police) but embassy maggots asked to get fingerprint checkdone aswell.

It's well known that you need a fingerprint check. Standard procedure.

Yeah,lol now I know Vanessa & Tony mate.I`ve sent my application with fingerprints to AFP, been calling them for two days in s row now.Hopefully they`ll get my application either today or tomorrow.And I am just guessing..I`ve already been approved of Name and DOB from AFP so I hope fingerprint check doesn`t take long either.

Well Name and DOB check took a week.So lets see it shouldn`t be more than 2 weeks.Oh hell,I`ll be ready if its before 15 december.Lol

Shouldn't be a problem — my fiancé also had to content with a 221(g). It was really quick once he got the required documents (see timeline).

Okay thanks man,I couriered finger prints to AFP and they`ll start processing this tuesday so hopefully I should get it first week of December.Want to be with my baby before Christmas.

Yes, as long as you supply the documents they requested and everything looks good in those documents. Pui got a 221g because the medical documents she got at the hospital when she did the medical was done on old expired forums. After she got the 221g she ate lunch and then went back to the hospital and got the information on the correct forums and went back to the embassy and she just made the cutoff time to hand in documents before 3:30pm and she waited about 5 minutes after she gave the documents and the person came back and said congratulations you can pick your visa up Monday. Sounds like you know what you need to do. Good luck.

Also another question that`s bothering me.Whats the difference between Administrative processing and Administrative reviewing.Is visa issued in 7-10 days after 221g documment submission(police clearance) or it is longer than visa issued on day the of interview.
