I never meant to imply that someone was too young. As someone stated, I married for the wrong reasons for a while and I paid for it.

I don't think it has so much to do with age as experience. Someone who marries very young who has already been out on their own and supported themself may be more likely to be successfully married than someone who has never been financially independent. Also, as many pointed out, it takes two to tango. If your partner is immature, it doesn't matter how old either of you are, it won't work.

I was 27 when I married and 32 when I divorced. I married what would be considered 'late' in age, but that still didn't make it last...but I'm glad that it didn't. I'm pretty happy now.

I was 19 my first marriage that lasted a year, but i did get a beautiful daughter from it. He was 30 and very abusive. Married this time at age 37. My husband was married at the age of 26 and divorced at the age of 40. His divorce was in June and we married in July. He was seperated from his wife for a year and 3 months before his divorce.

I never married before, but bf married in 1987, 97 and hopefully (with me!) in 2007. He was 23, 33 and 43 if we get our visa soon...lol i told him there wont be another wedding in 2017...but he did not think it was so funny

I just turned 24 so hopefully i will still be 24 by the time we are successfully done with the process
